What it is
A label feeder is a servo-driven supply unit that takes a reel of pre-printed labels and presents them one row at a time at the position where the placement machine’s nozzle picks up components. The label is then placed in the same pass as the components, on the same machine, without a separate labeling station.
The unit is keyed to two things: the placement machine it mounts on, and the widest label it has to handle.

Model selection
Models are grouped by the placement machine they fit, then by the structure variants for non-standard platforms. All dimensions are the feeder’s own outer envelope in millimetres.

Built for these machines
The photographs below are the production units. Model codes are listed under each group; the full table with dimensions, weights and label ranges is above.
Notes on the range
- Reel bore is 76.2 mm and outer diameter 200 mm. Other reel sizes can be made to order.
- Label length can be customized, and the number of columns follows the material.
- The feeder is designed for DC 24 V. The supply must be able to deliver more than 2 A; the 80 mA average and 1 A peak figures describe what the feeder draws, not what the supply must provide.
- When placement speed is not the constraint, a feeding speed of 30–50 holds the label steadier at the pickup point.
- Materials other than paper labels are handled on the same unit: FPC stiffening steel sheet, Mylar tape, foam, thermal pads, dust mesh and high-temperature tape on roll.
What is not published
