A label feeder feeds and peels material on the placement machine. If tape spec, label size, pickup position or signal interface does not line up, the unit will not work in production. So before quoting we run an engineering review: lay out the known conditions, confirm which published models fit, and list what is still missing and who needs to supply it.

Check first, mount later

What we need from you

Item Why it matters How to state it
Placement machine make and model Sets the machine group and mounting interface e.g. FUJI NXT, YAMAHA YS24, JUKI FX series, PANASONIC NPM, ASM HS60, Samsung SM series
Label size (width x length, mm) Maps to published width and length coverage Width measured at the largest outline; length measured along the tape direction
Tape and reel spec Maps to applicable package and stripping method Roll paper tape or packaging tape; standard reel bore 76.2 mm, outer diameter 200 mm, other sizes on request
Columns of material Maps to the columns a model can run Single or multiple columns; for multiple columns give pitch and total width
Takt requirement Shows whether the feeding cycle is sufficient Pickups per second or per minute
Label material and peel behaviour Shows whether a non-standard build is needed Paper, film, metal piece, foam, thermal pad and similar
Operating environment Shows the protection and heat rise to plan for Workshop temperature and humidity, cleanliness, continuous run hours
Existing signal interface Shows how the unit will be wired Definition and level of material and feeding signals

Review flow

Step What we do What you get
Request logged Collect data, open the project, flag missing items Project reference and a receipt of the data checklist
Compatibility check Compare published machine groups and width / length / column coverage line by line A fit conclusion and the gap list
Model proposal Confirm a model, or propose a non-standard build Model, dimensions and weight, supply and signal notes
Quotation Cost the final configuration Written quotation
Trial and validation Run the agreed on-machine trial or a sample test Trial result and a production recommendation

Engineering capability

  • Machine coverage: published models cover FUJI, YAMAHA (YS / YV), JUKI, PANASONIC, ASM (D / X), Samsung (Hanwha) SM / SME, Universal UNI and MIRAE machine groups, plus non-standard automation and custom placement machines.
  • Non-standard fit: mounting plate, pickup height and reel position can be adjusted to the space on the machine; material handling and signal definitions can be matched to the existing interface.
  • Compatibility testing: the usual sequence is to power the unit alone and verify feeding and stripping, then mount it and verify pickup position and signal timing.
  • After-sales: usage notes and wiring definitions ship with the unit; how an action or accuracy issue is handled and the response time follow the shipped notes and the contract terms.

To confirm on site

  • Available mounting space and height in the pickup area of the placement machine
  • Interface form of the existing feeder slot or fixture
  • Where the reel will actually sit and how the tape will run
  • Whether the workshop supplies DC 24 V
  • How takt is allocated when several machines run in parallel
