The short answer
Two inputs decide the model. First, the placement machine you run — that sets the model prefix. Second, the widest label you have to place — that sets the number after the dash. Everything else about the feeder is common across the range.

Step 2: pick the number from your widest label
The number is the widest label the model takes, in millimetres. Offered sizes run 32, 60, 100, 150,
200 and 250, so the numbers you will see are 32, 60, 100, 150, 200 and 250 — LFSID-250S covers up
to 248 mm of label width.
A model takes any label up to its stated limit. Choosing a larger model does not make small labels harder to feed, so the decision is driven by the widest job you expect, not the average one.
Step 3: check the two numbers that surprise people
Column count. Feeders are offered from 1 to 14 columns depending on model. If a row carries several labels side by side, the column count has to reach that number; the fibre-sensor count follows it.
Label length. The published length range on most models is stated relative to the label width band the model is built for. The reel-fed retract variant differs here: its length range is L10–70 rather than L2–40, because the strip geometry is different.
What does not change between models
Positioning accuracy is ±0.2 mm and angle accuracy ±0.5° across the range. Feeding speed is adjustable from 1 to 100. The body is hard aluminium with steel parts. The reel takes a 76.2 mm bore and a 200 mm outer diameter as standard. Supply is DC 24 V.
Because those are common, model choice comes down to mounting and label size. There is no version of this feeder that trades accuracy for width.
When the answer is not a reel feeder
If your material arrives as die-cut sheets on a backing paper rather than on a roll, the reel range is the wrong family. The sheet label feeder takes a magazine instead, and its selection table is organised by backing-paper length and peeling width rather than by label width and columns.
What to send for a model recommendation
Placement machine make and model; label width and length; number of columns per row; the material. With those four, the reply names one model rather than a shortlist.
