Which label feeder fits my placement machine?
The model prefix names the machine group: LFFUJI for FUJI NXT, LFJUKI for JUKI KE700 / KE2000 /
FX / JX / JM, LFPANA for PANASONIC NPM / CM602 / CM402, LFYAMAHA for YAMAHA YS and YV,
LFSUMSUNG for Samsung (Hanwha) SM / SME, LFSID for ASM D series and for the standard
upper-screen body, LFSIX for ASM X series. The number after the dash is the widest label the
model takes, in millimetres. See the full model list.
What is the widest label a feeder can place?
2 mm to 248 mm across the range, model by model. The standard upper-screen body goes furthest: LFSID-250S reaches 248 mm label width with up to 14 columns. A model takes any label up to its stated limit, so one unit covers every job inside that width.
Does the feeder work if the placement machine does not talk to it?
Yes. The feeder can present labels on its own sensor without any signal from the machine: set the feeding signal to off in the feeder menu and it feeds whenever the label table is empty. If the machine wants a present-or-absent signal, the yellow wire carries the material signal; if the machine wants to drive the feed, the green wire carries the feeding signal and the machine supplies a 0 V pulse.
What power supply does the feeder need?
DC 24 V. The supply must be able to deliver more than 2 A. The datasheet figures of 80 mA average and 1 A peak describe consumption, not the supply rating — sizing a supply on the average figure will brown out on every feed cycle.
What reel sizes does it take?
Bore 76.2 mm and outer diameter 200 mm as standard. Other reel sizes can be made to order.
How long does one feed cycle take?
0.1–2 s for the reel-fed label feeder range. The sheet label feeder line runs a 2–3 s cycle, which is a different quantity.
What materials can the feeder handle besides paper labels?
FPC stiffening steel sheet, foam, thermal pads, Mylar tape, dust mesh and high-temperature tape on roll. The same unit handles all of them.
Do I need to modify the placement machine?
The feeder mounts on the feeder platform and occupies a feeder slot. Whether anything else is needed depends on the machine and on your process; tell us the model and we will confirm.
Is the label feeder a labeling machine?
No. A label feeder supplies labels to a placement machine that already exists on your line. A labeling machine is a standalone station that applies labels on its own. The comparison note sets out when each fits.
Does the price include anything besides the feeder?
Prices are not published on this site. Ask us for a quotation, which will list what the supply includes — power arrangement, cables, documentation — for the model you need.
Are the specifications on this site complete?
They are taken from our printed brochures and manuals. Where a value is not in those documents, the page says so. Four product groups from the previous website — GLOBAL UNI, MIRAE, the retractable upper-stripping HZ body and the short rear screen SIU body — have no brochure in our records, so their specifications are not published.
